Bulgaria's Central Election Commission has announced the first official results of the vote count in the second round of the presidential election, APA reports.
According to information published on the commission's website, presidential and vice-presidential candidates Iliana Iotova and Kiril Valchev received 57.943 percent of the vote, while Andrey Gyurov and Georgi Kandev secured 39.007 percent.
The results are based on data as of 11:00 p.m. local time (12:00 a.m. Baku time).
By that time, 17.39 percent of the election commission protocols had been processed.
