The death toll from Russia's overnight attacks on Kyiv has risen to 13, APA reports.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko said in a post on X that at least 86 people, including two children, were injured.

According to her, 20 locations across the capital came under direct attack, while nearly 100 buildings were damaged.

Search and rescue teams are currently operating in 15 districts of Kyiv.

Earlier, Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko had reported that the death toll had risen from three to eight as rescue operations continued. He said Russian forces had struck 28 locations across the city, with residential buildings and civilian infrastructure suffering the most severe damage.

Ukraine's State Emergency Service also released footage showing burning residential buildings, extensive destruction, and vehicles reduced to ashes.

Russian forces have launched a large-scale drone attack on Kyiv. An air raid alert remains in effect across the capital, and debris from intercepted drones has been reported in two districts, APA reports citing Ukrinform.

The information was released via the Telegram channels of Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Tymur Tkachenko, according to Ukrinform.

Klitschko reported:

"In the Desnianskyi district, debris from a UAV fell near a private house. No fire has been reported. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, preliminary information indicates that debris fell on the grounds of a non-residential building.

Two UAVs are currently over the city."
