The Online Inquiry Center (OIC), developed by the State Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons to receive and manage information on missing persons and process citizens' applications electronically, has been launched, the State Commission told APA.
According to the statement, the portal was created on the basis of the Integrated Data Management System (iDMS), developed within the framework of cooperation between the State Commission and the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP).
It was stated that the new digital platform serves to manage information on missing persons through a unified electronic system, ensure prompt information exchange among state institutions, facilitate faster processing of citizens' applications, and organize interaction with family members of missing persons through a modern digital platform.
The system was developed taking into account the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the areas of activity of the State Commission.
