"Today, I would like to announce a new €20 million program aimed at promoting peace. Together, we want to help strengthen peace in the region and make the benefits of peace visible and tangible in the daily lives of people living in border areas.
For example, we will invest in improving healthcare services through the procurement of ambulances. We will focus on mine clearance to enhance security. We will invest in building strong local communities through rural development, water resource management, precision agriculture, and other initiatives. Of course, support for small and medium-sized enterprises will also be an important part of this program," the President of the European Commission said.
