45 were killed, 6 wounded in the attack in Bilge village of Mazidagh settlement. The attack was made at the wedding party of former head of village municipality Cemil Celebi’s daughter. The attack is linked to a clan feud. Most victims were women and children.
Journalists are not allowed in the site. Interior Minister Besir Atalay said it was not a terrorist attack, conflict between the two families caused the massacre.
Besir Atalay, Justice Minister and Agriculture Minister will visit the village.
