In January-May 2026, Azerbaijan produced gross domestic product (GDP) worth AZN 51 billion 783.8 million, APA-Economics reports, citing the State Statistical Committee.
The economy remained unchanged compared to the same period in 2025.
In January-May, value added worth AZN 16 billion 125.4 million was generated in the oil and gas sector, while AZN 35 billion 658.4 million was generated in the non-oil and gas sector.
A real decline of 1% was recorded in the oil and gas sector, while the non-oil and gas sector posted growth of 0.4%.
