Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has warned Greece and the Greek Cypriot Administration, APA reports.
Speaking at his party's parliamentary group meeting, Erdoğan drew attention to the fact that Greece and the Greek Cypriot Administration are in an alliance with Israel against the Turkish and Muslim presence in the Eastern Mediterranean and that their politicians are engaged in provocative actions and rhetoric.
The Turkish President warned Greece and the Greek Cypriot Administration against “seeking adventures” in the region.
“We see and monitor attempts to ignite the flames of discord in the Mediterranean and Cyprus. Let no one seek adventures. If the rights of Türkiye and the Turkish Cypriots are threatened in the Eastern Mediterranean, our response will be very harsh and decisive,” the Turkish leader emphasized.
Erdoğan also added that Türkiye's security begins in Aleppo, Damascus and Beirut.
