"Moscow is ready to expand mutually beneficial cooperation with Tbilisi, which is firmly resisting European diktat in its foreign policy," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said during a briefing, APA's local bureau reports.
She noted that "the Georgian authorities have made a decisive choice in favor of restoring the country's sovereignty and dignity."
Zakharova stated that Russia understands Georgia's efforts to put an end to instructions coming from abroad.
"Moscow is open to expanding cooperation that brings mutual benefit and is based on mutual respect," the Foreign Ministry official added.
