Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. In July 2016, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) produced 639,000 tonnes of oil, down 9.04% from July 2015, up 3.06% from June 2016, read a statement from SOCAR.
SOCAR produced 4,420,700 tonnes of oil in January-July, down 8.66% compared to the previous year.
SOCAR produced 647,000 tonnes of oil in January 2016, 605,000 tonnes in February and 646,200 tonnes in March, 624,500 tonnes in April, 639,000 tonnes in May and 620,000 tonnes in June.
Oil production across the country made 3,635,900 tonnes in July, up 2.94% in comparison to the same period of 2015, 3.30% compared to June 2016.
In January-July 2016, 24,699,800 tonnes of oil overall were produced in the country, down 0.80% from the previous year.
A total of 3,518,200 tonnes of oil were produced in the country in January 2016, 3,339,300 tonnes in February, 3,649,700 tonnes in March, 3,469,800 in April, 3,567,200 in May and 3,519,700 tonnes in June.
