A crane tipped over and collapsed into the sea as a result of imbalance while lifting piles during the repair of pier â„–1043-1284 of Palchig pilpile field at about 18:00 pm July 26, SOCAR told APA-Economics on July 27.
The section foreman Namig Mammadov died after drowning in the sea. His body has already been recovered from the sea.
A special commission has been set up to investigate the cause of the accident.
