Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan produced 1,900,000 tonnes of oil products in January – June 2016, up 11.4% from previous year.
According to State Statistical Committee, gasoline production made 578,800 tonnes, down 11% compared to a year ago.
Diesel production fell 14.9% to 431,700 tonnes, kerosene production rose 2.8% to 92,100 tonnes, oil bitumen production dropped 14.6% to 57,800 tonnes, liquid gas production increased 64.4% to 76,300 tonnes, and lubricating oil production declined 13.2% to 19,100 tonnes.
84,100 tonnes of petrol for petro-chemical industry were produced during the same period, down 22.6% by contrast to a year earlier.
Moreover, Azerbaijan produced 564,300 tonnes of mazout, up 2.6 times from 2015.
