In January- August of this year, 26 456,9 thousand tons of oil were transported in Azerbaijan via main oil pipelines, which is 10% more in annual comparison, the State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.
76,2% of transportation was implemented via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline. During the reporting period, 20 149,8 thousand tons of oil were transferred via the pipeline (6,04% more than the corresponding indicator of 2021).
During the reporting period, 83.5% or 16,834,500 tons of oil transported through the BTC pipeline was produced in Azerbaijan.
