SOCAR's first vice-president, oilman and scientist, geologist, and academician Khoshbakht Yusifzada was laid to rest, APA reports.
A farewell ceremony was held for him in the building of the Presidium of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences.
Along with family members, and loved ones of the deceased, the ceremony brought together Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov and deputy prime ministers, as well as a number of state and government officials, MPs, and media representatives.
After the farewell ceremony, he was laid to rest in the Alley of Honor.
