World demand in 2028 will reach 110.2 million bpd (barrels per day) representing an increase of 10.6 million bpd compared to 2022, says the World Oil Outlook 2045 by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), APA reports.
According to the report, it is anticipated that in the long run, the global oil demand will rise more than 16.4 bpd between 2022 and 2045, increasing from 99.6 mln bpd to 116 mln. bpd.
It was noted that oil demand is expected to increase in Non-OECD countries.
