The Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov participated in the Energy Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) held within the framework of the Kazakhstan Energy Week - 2023 / XV Eurasian Forum KAZENERGY via video conferencing, APA-Economics reports.
It was highlighted that the trade turnover of Azerbaijan with the member countries of the SCO increased by 45.8% last year and exceeded 9 billion dollars. It was noted that the share of these countries in the foreign trade of Azerbaijan was 17% last year. The member countries of SCO have invested more than 12 billion dollars in the economy of Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan, also, has invested 3.2 billion dollars in the economy of the SCO member countries.
