Land allocated for construction of solar power plant in Jabrayil expanded

Amendments have been made to the decision “On the designation of a state-owned land plot in the administrative territory of Jabrayil district as an area for renewable energy sources,” APA reports.

Prime Minister Ali Asadov signed a corresponding decision.

According to the decision, a 263.36-hectare state-owned land plot in the administrative territory of Jabrayil district, which is part of the East Zangezur economic region, has been designated as an area for renewable energy sources for the construction of a solar power plant with an initial installed capacity of 50 MW and a total capacity of 100 MW.

It should be noted that the previously designated state-owned land plot in the administrative territory of Jabrayil district covered 229.0 hectares.
