A luxury cruise ship service is planned to be launched on the Moscow–Baku route between Russia and Azerbaijan, Russia's Trade Representative to Azerbaijan, Adam Hakimov, said on the Zvezda television channel.
According to him, a round trip between Moscow and Baku will take approximately 14 days, with about one week allocated for travel in each direction.
Adam Hakimov noted that one vessel is already ready for the project, while two more vessels are expected to be put into operation in the near future.
According to the trade representative, the project is supported by the Russian government, including the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
