Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, Turkish Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, Plenipotentiary representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Fuad Najafli and Minister of Climate Change and Environment of United Arab Emirates Mariam Mohammed Almheiri delivered a speech during the opening of the event.
Plenipotentiary representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Fuad Najafli highlighted the significance of brotherhood and alliance relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in ensuring stability and energy security in the region.

The ministers will attend the 3rd Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum and the first "Nakhchivan-Green Energy Zone" international conference to be held in Nakhchivan. During the event, plenary sessions on energy transition, green energy zone, green energy potential of Nakhchivan are planned, as well as speeches by a number of senior officials of both countries.
The guests first visited the national leader Heydar Aliyev's monument erected in the center of Nakhchivan city and laid flowers in front of the monument.
