In January-April of the current year, 29. 954,4 million cubic meters of gas were transported via main gas pipelines in Azerbaijan, which is 5,1% more in annual comparison, the State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.
54,8% of gas was transported via the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum South Caucasus Pipeline. Through this pipeline, gas produced in the "Shahdaniz" gas-condensate field is exported.
Thus, during the reporting period, 16. 419 mln. cubic meters of gas was transported via this pipeline (an 8% increase in comparison to the same period of 2022).
