Exporting Azerbaijani gas to Syria via Türkiye will contribute to the restoration of this country, said Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov during the opening ceremony of the Türkiye-Syria natural gas pipeline in the Yavuzlu village of the Kilis province of Türkiye, APA-Economics' correspondent assigned to Türkiye reports.
According to him, the ceremony held today is a clear indication of what can be done as a result of joint cooperation.
The minister also noted that Syria is starting the normalization process today: "A lot of work has been done to realize this process in a very short time. The realization of this event is the result of joint efforts. The implementation of this project could not have taken place without the support of Türkiye. As a brotherly country, we jointly support the development and restoration of Syria. This has become possible as a result of joint cooperation," Mikayil Jabbarov emphasized.
