24 bcm of gas has been transported through the Trans-Anatolian Pipeline (TANAP) since its commissioning, said the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shahbazov during the 3rd Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum and the first "Nakhchivan-Green Energy Zone" international conference, APA reports.
According to him, 7.2 bcm of gas has been exported from Azerbaijan to Türkiye since January of this year, of which 4.2 bcm were transported through TANAP.
The minister also noted that 10.2 bcm of gas will be exported from Azerbaijan to Türkiye this year.
According to Parviz Shahbazov, Türkiye will play an important role in increasing Azerbaijan's gas exports to Europe.
