Baku. Etibar Mammadov - APA. “We discussed the issues of political prisoners, proportional electoral system, financing of parties and other issues at the meeting. Most importantly, we came to the conclusion to continue the meeting comprehensively. The issues that we raised were noted down and we expect the result”, Chairman of Classic Popular Front Party Mirmahmud Miralioglu said at today’s meeting between the government and opposition, APA reports.
Miralioglu mentioned they hope that the issues will be considered and produce results. He stressed that this meeting will have a positive impact on all problems and these issues.
Miralioglu commented on the absence of Musavat Party and Azerbaijan Popular Front Party at the meeting.
He noted that the issue regarding the meeting was discussed by 11 parties in the Center for Democracy and Human Rights: “Musavat Party also attended at the meeting. It’s interesting that the person attending the discussion does not say anything about this issue. However, any functionary is asked that whether Musavat will attend here or not. It’s clear what position PFP shares in this issue”.
The chairman of the Azerbaijan Democratic Party (ADP) Sardar Jalaloglu told APA that they were pleased with the meeting.
