Baku-APA. "In recent years, much has been done in the framework of regional development. The main goal is the creation of local production, jobs and strengthen our export potential", President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said during the meeting with the stuff of a tea processing factory of Astarachay LLC and the public of Astara region, APA reports.
The President noted that Azerbaijan’s financial situation is quite good: "The results of the first quarter of the year is also very positive. Azerbaijan's economy is developing rapidly. In the future, we will further develop at the expense of agriculture, industry, non-oil sector".
According to the President, integrated approach allows the Azerbaijani economy less dependent on oil factor and ensure sustainable development.
Touching on infrastructure projects, the President noted that in Azerbaijan will not be any unrepaired rural road: "Our purpose is consists of it. In recent years, enough funds are allocated to this sphere. Roads are laid, because there can not be any development if there has no road. At the same time, when there is a road, people feel more comfortable. Road is social and economic project. Infrastructure projects should be a priority in the first phase of our work, because without them, development is impossible. If we do not build power plants, today would be impossible to create an enterprise, since the energy generation, gas lines, infrastructure, and roads - all these leads to the development of any country".
