MEP: â€œVoting process is going on as considered in the lawâ€

Baku. Aynur Aliyeva – APA. The members of European Parliament are following the voting process in the presidential elections in Azerbaijan.

APA reports that member of Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament Oleg Valjalo has familiarized with the conditions created for voting at poling station # 27 of Yasamal District Constituency Election Commission #16, followed start of the voting process, looked through the voters’ list.

Oleg Valjalo also noted that he will visit other polling stations, too: “We are here since the election has started. I can say in accordance with our observations that the voting process is going on as considered in the law. Citizens come, submit their ID cards and vote”.

Kazakh observer, member of the CIS observation mission Yesen Kuminskali said that the voting process at this polling station is going on in accordance with the Election Code: “We have not found any irregularity up to now. So far, everything is in order. A press conference on the results of the elections will be likely held tomorrow.”

Totally 1313 people have been included in voters’ list at the polling station #27 under the Constituency Election Commission #16. 45 people have cast votes up to now, the names of 3 have not been found in voters’ list.
