APA reports that the campaign will end on October 8 at 08:00.
Places have been allocated for candidates to hold meetings in the regions and Baku within the campaign. Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company will also allocate totally 6 hours airtime for each candidate per week. The candidates will use 3 hours of free airtime on Public TV and 3 hours on Public Radio. They will use free airtime of TV on the even days and that of radio on the odd days of the week.
Draw will be held to distribute airtime today.
Next presidential elections will be held in Azerbaijan on October 9, 2013. The Central Election Commission has registered 10 presidential candidates. They are incumbent president, chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party Ilham Aliyev, Chairman of Hope Party Iqbal Aghazadeh, MP Zahid Oruj, chairman of Whole Azerbaijan Popular Front Party Gudrat Hasanguliyev, chairman of Modern Musavat Party Hafiz Hajiyev, chairman of Azerbaijan Social Democratic Party Araz Alizadeh, chairman of National Revival Party Faraj Guliyev, candidate of the National Council Jamil Hasanli, chairman of Justice Party Ilyas Ismailov and chairman of Azerbaijan Democratic Party Sardar Jalaloghlu.
