APA reports that the meeting was held at Rustab Ibrahimbeyov’s office in Icheri Sheher and attended by Musavat Party chairman Isa Gambar, APFP chairman Ali Karimli, CPFP chairman Mirmahmud Miralioghlu, OSP chairman Sulhaddin Akbar, ALP chairman Avaz Temirkhan and head of the National Council’s Administration and EL Movement chairman Eldar Namazaov.
The format of the National Council’s participation in the upcoming presidential election was discussed at the meeting. The Council members sought ways to solve desperate situation regarding the determination of a single candidate.
The meeting ended at 15:00. Media representatives were not detailed informed about the meeting. According to some information, certain decisions were passed at the meeting.
According to one of the decisions, the next session of the National Council will be held on August 26.
