Prior to the opening ceremony, the President was informed about the reconstruction work in the Heydar Aliyev Park. The park occupies a total area of 4 hectares. All conditions have been created here for residents` rest.
The Head of State viewed photo stands reflecting the work carried out in the district.
Then, the Head of State cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the Heydar Aliyev Center.
The President was told that the construction of the Center started in November, 2012. The center covers a total area of 5,200 square meters.
The three-storey facility has an internet cafe, a dance studio, a conference hall, a 3D movie theatre, a 330-seat auditorium, a drawing room, a chess room, an E-library, and a photo studio. A bust to national leader Heydar Aliyev was installed here.
There are photo stands reflecting lifetime and activities of the national leader, as well as President Ilham Aliyev`s visits to Sabirabad.
