Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel-General Ramil Usubov has today received special coordinator appointed by the OSCE Chairman-in-Office to observe elections in Azerbaijan, head of France's delegation to the OSCE PA Michel Voisin and chairman of France-Azerbaijan friendship group Thierry Mariani, press service of the Ministry told APA.
Speaking about the upcoming presidential elections in the country Ramil Usubov said the Ministry has worked out a special action plan for protection of public safety, prevention of possible law violations, fulfillment of police’s tasks and the documents have been directed for the implementation. The minister assured that the officers of the Ministry are ready to cope with all the tasks in the upcoming presidential elections on October 9.
The sides also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
