Azerbaijan changes date of final exam session at universities due to first European Games

Under the order, final exams at higher educational institutions are due to take place from May 11 to 31 due to the First European Games to take place in Baku.

University rectors were instructed to ensure the arrangement of the exams in accordance with existing regulatory documents, specify the list of the students to be examined, create examination staffs in the universities, and provide the operative investigation of the complaints received by the staff, create conditions for participation of the public and parents to ensure the transparency in the exams, and under the current legislation to take measures about the individuals violating the rules in the arrangement of the exams and during the exams.

University rectors bear responsibility for any irregularities at their universities. They shall submit a final report on the arrangement, holding and results of the exams to the Ministry of Education within ten days after the end of the session.

Deputy Minister Jeyhun Bayramov is to execute the order.
