Baku. Ramil Mamamdli – APA. “We feel ashamed for the opposition,” said Ali Hasanov, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Refugees and IDPs told journalists addressing an event on the 20th anniversary of the occupation of Gubadli, APA reports.

Estimating the socio-political situation in the country, Hasanov said that the current opposition of Azerbaijan has already disgraced itself: “In causes regret. I consider that the strong opposition should stand before the strong authorities. This opposition should have left the political arena and been replaced by stronger political organizations. But it did not happen. Those who are in the opposition get grants. They do not pave the way for strong opposition, either. We have witnessed what happened regarding the candidate. They failed to nominate someone. Now they have nominated an honest scientist. They will disgrace him. He is a normal person, they have involved him in politics. This is their real nature.

Ali Hasanov said everyone will vote for a worthy candidate.

“The citizens will vote for their future. We do not tell them for whom to vote. Everyone will vote for whom he wants. Ilham Aliyev does not need anybody’s help. He has solved this issue with the work he did within 10 years. We will see these activities for a long time under the leadership of the president, we will go to Gubadli, mark our victory in Gubadli. We hope for it and are sure that it will happen,” he said.
