According to him, official Baku approaches such a contact as a support and strengthening the occupier state: “this support prolongs the period of occupation. We have double jealousy when it is done by the countries having shared strategic interests. It is not only ours but also Turkish society’s opinion”.
Ali Hasanov noted that recently when the issue on opening borders between Turkey and Armenia was raised Turkish society, political parties and Turkish government did not supported this issue. “We assess the opening of Van-Iravan flight as a certain level of support to the aggressor regime in Armenia”.
