State Committee on Work with Diaspora told APA that Dalai Lama has sent a letter to Nizami Ganjavi International Center. The letter says it is impressive to study delicate approach to human rights and their promotion in the works by Nizami Ganjavi, who lived in the 12th century, and it should be followed as an example: “9 centuries ago thinker Nizami Ganjavi replied to the embarrassing cases of 21st century like human trafficking, violation of human rights. He released the woman, who had been sent for him as a concubine and married her, his care for women is very important for the society. Thinkers like Nizami combining universal values play important role in understanding interrelation of the world’s current deep nature and establishment of effective international activity in the settlement of global problem.”
Dalai Lama highly estimates such attentive approach of the Center to significant problems of the universe.
The meeting of Nizami Ganjavi International Center will be realized with the support of Ganja City Executive Authority and State Committee on Work with Diaspora.
