The parliament told APA that the redeveloped and updated Strategic Defense Review of Azerbaijan, which has been discussed among the security agencies with the participation of local and NATO experts, may be resubmitted for discussion at the parliament.
The draft law to be adopted during the discussion of the document will strengthen the assessment of general security of the country, preventive measures against the existing risks, regulation of duties and principles of the Armed Forces in a new form, updating of the reforms and other issues.
Though the Strategic Defense Review was discussed with Azerbaijani and NATO experts in Baku, 2010, it has not been approved yet.
