APA reports that MP Malahat Ibrahimgizi said she received appeals on the activity of “TOPAZ”.
She noted that 13 women appealed only from Nasimi district: “We are also receiving appeal from regions. Seemingly, these bookmaker’s offices were designed for youth’s leisure time, but these persons lose their houses there. Universities also complain that the students often go there.”
MP Fazil Mustafa said that it is necessary to raise awareness to prevent this. Speaker Ogtay Asadov said that “TOPAZ” is not a casino: “It promotes the development of sport, but we will deal with the appeals.”
