Baku. Mubariz Aslanov – APA. “Every election process is not only a national issue, but also a process that has impact on the country’s commitments undertaken before international community, the future of the relations with international community and other issues,” chief of Socio-Political Department of the Presidential Administration Ali Hasanov told journalists, APA reports.
Asked about possible interference of foreign forces in the upcoming presidential elections, the PA official said that the impact of foreign countries is inevitable: “There are states that have economic, political and neighborly relations with Azerbaijan for a long time and these countries also have impact on the elections. At the same time, some voters participating in the elections have relations with international organizations. But, the people and voters determine the fate of elections. So we try to save the voters’ will and election process from the influence of foreign circles. We are doing our best so that the citizens demonstrate their own will in the elections.”
