"Appropriate assessment to be given after the investigation of NDIâ€™s activity", Ali Hasanov

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov-APA. "Financial Report for the NGOs operating in Azerbaijan is a legal requirement. NGOs should respect this principle ", said Head of the Department of Public and Political Issues of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov, APA reports.

According to him, NGOs, violating the legislation, not providing a report on expenditure of the grant, or spending money to illegal activities will be made answer in an appropriate manner: "In his latest interview, head of the Presidential Administration, academician Ramiz Mehdiyev clearly put this issue on the table. As for the pressure on Azerbaijan by international organizations, official Baku refers to the requirements of these organizations, in accordance with the national interests of Azerbaijani state and people.

Ali Hasanov also noted that issue in media about the activities of the Azerbaijani representation of the U.S. National Democratic Institute (NDI) would be investigated: “Appropriate assessment will be given after the investigaion of NDI’s activity, said Ali Hasanov
