Azerbaijani President meets with Foreign Minister of Czech Republic

Bakuâ€“APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the delegation led by Foreign Minister of Czech Republic Karel Schwarzenberg on Friday, Press-Service of the President told APA. The head of state said that relations between Azerbaijan and Czech Republic were in the good level. Touching upon the regional and international cooperation between the countries, President Ilham Aliyev emphasized the importance of the Czech Republicâ€™s participation at the GUAM Batumi Summit. The head of state noted that there were good prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation and expressed confidence that the visit would contribute to further expansion of relations. Karel Schwarzenberg said that he was the first Czech Foreign Minister visiting Azerbaijan. He said the relations between the countries were developing successfully and there were wide opportunities for the further strengthening of the relations.
