Azerbaijani and Russian presidents sign Declaration on Friendship and Strategic Partnership

The declaration envisages expansion and strengthening of military technical cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia.
â€œThe two sides will impede the activity of organizations, departments, companies causing damage to sovereign rights of another countryâ€, says the Declaration.
The Declaration also covers an article on solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict within the framework of Azerbaijanâ€™s territorial integrity and inviolability of borders. The sides were satisfied with the works of the commission on delimitation of borders and expressed confidence for conclusion of negotiations process and signing of proper intergovernmental agreement.
The sides called the Caspian littoral states to sign an agreement on delimitation of the Caspian seabed. Moreover, the sides have signed an agreement on protection of transit cargos between Interior Ministries, organization of archives between foreign policy departments, combating violence of customs rules between Federal Customs Service and Azerbaijan State Customs Service, privatization of state property between federal agency on Management of State Property and State Committee on Management of State Property.
