Roundtable on Parliament Information and Research Services held

Baku. Turan Huseynovaâ€“APA. Roundtable on Parliament Information and Research Services has been held with the participation of a group of MPs and officials of MM Office, APA reports.
The roundtable has been held on the initiative of USAID Azerbaijan Parliament Program. The event aims to learn needs of MM in the fields of information and researches, discuss decisions on the establishment of strong institutional efforts on researches and information within the framework of MM. Ziyad Samadzadeh, Head of MM Standing Commission on Economic Policy stressed the importance of establishment of analytical research department in MM on state budget. Nizami Safarov and Latif Huseynov, Directors of Department of MM Office noted that there was need for large comparative researches to improve legislation. USAID Azerbaijan Parliament Program representatives, official of Israeli Embassy voiced their opinions at the event.
