Serdar Jalaloglu: Returning to Azadliq alliance is out of question
Ali Aliyev considers that ADP’s activity within the bloc can be restored in case they avoid their proposals concerning the dialogue.
“Serdar Jalaloglu accepted this position and asked time for holding discussions in the party. The alliance is not against the dialogue. But we consider that the government should also put forward this initiative, he said.
Leader of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party Ali Kerimli told the APA that the decision was made because of the latest processes within the party. He said that the decision shows the causes of the party’s dismissal from the alliance. He noted that ADP’s returning to the alliance depends on the future activity of both sides of the party.
Commenting on the alliance’s cooperation with Rasul Guliyev the leader of the Popular Front Party said that it is not discussed at present.
Serdar Jalaloglu told the APA that the adopted decision is like prosecutor’s accusations.
“Those mentioned shortcomings have no ground. ADP has never stepped away of the decisions of the alliance. They are only concerned why ADP has adopted decision on political dialogue. I do not accept their positions on ADP, this is my subjective idea, he said.
He said he regrets that the alliance has adopted the decision like this and stressed that the decision has any ground.
“I do not intend to attend the meetings of the alliance and why should I attend the meetings if they adopt decision on our dismissal from the alliance. They infuriated as I did not agree to publish Rasul Guliyev’s letter in newspaper. I am busy with the execution of the decision adopted by the party, he said.
Akif Shahbazov told the APA that he does not estimate the decision of the alliance positively. Noting that at present the meeting of the Organizing Committee is being held, he said the decision of the alliance is being discussed. He also noted that official information will be released after the discussions.
Arif Hajili said that the alliance was expected to adopt this decision. He said as Azadliq alliance is opposition alliance, it should have adopt the decision on the parties that contradict the position of the opposition.
“At the same time the chiefs of the parties have to choose between Rasul Guliyev and Serdar Jalaloglu. I consider that the alliance adopted this decision not to lose Rasul Guliyev, he said. /APA/
