Azerbaijani Parliament discusses 2013 draft state budget

Baku. Parvin Abbasov â€“ APA. The Azerbaijani Parliament has today started to discuss the draft state budget for 2013.

APA reports that alongside with the parliament authorities, government representatives are also participating in the joint meeting of the 5 committees â€“ Security and Defense, Economic Policy, Natural Resources and Energy, Agrarian Policy and Social Policy.

First Deputy Chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ziyafat Asgarov, another Deputy Chairman Valeh Alasgarov, chairmen of the parliamentâ€™s committees, MPs, Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov, Chairman of State Social Protection Fund Salim Muslumov and officials of SOCAR, Defense and Interior Ministries attended the meeting.

Delivering a speech at the meeting, Ziyad Samadzadeh, Chairman of the Parliamentâ€™s Chairman of Economic Policy Committee, informed about the draft budget. Sharifov said that the draft budget aimed to develop non-oil sector and the other spheres.
