Vidadi Mirkamal: â€œEfficiency of Public Chamberâ€™s Coordination Council is very lowâ€

Baku. Etibar Mammadov â€“ APA. Public Chamber held the next session, today. According to APA, the draft law on â€œFreedom of Assemblyâ€, PCâ€™s activity and forthcoming duties were discussed at the meeting.

Chairman of Popular Front Party Ali Karimli stressed that, it was important to achieve reforms in the elections and direct main power to the target: â€œAll means must be used maximally. We must try to gather all powers around the Public Chamber. We have to achieve electoral reforms. We have already passed decision on establishment of Common election Platformâ€.

Karimli also appreciated yesterdayâ€™s picket and all previous rallies.

Member of PC Vidadi Mirkamal criticized the activity of Coordination Council. He spoke about significant changes in posts and structure. According to him, PC can not be a powerful union with existing standards in the structure. He offered to establish Common Election Headquarters and Common Election Platform: â€œPC can not operate for long time with existing standards. The session is held once a month. Firstly, it needs to provide presence of all members in the sessions. Efficiency of Coordination Council is very low. A committee consisting of session members must be established to control the Council and its activity must be strengthenedâ€.
