Public Chamber attempts to hold unauthorized picket outside Azerbaijani Parliament -<font color=red>UPDATED- 2</font>

Baku â€“ APA. The surrounding of the Azerbaijani Parliament has been taken under control by the law-enforcement bodies due to the Public Chamberâ€™s picket scheduled for today at 12.00. APA reports that the police have been deployed outside the Azerbaijani Parliament and along Parliament Avenue from 10.30. Deputy Chairman of the Baku City Main Police Office Sahlab Baghirov and other officials arrived at the site.
The cars around the avenue are being removed. However, the traffic along the avenue has not been restricted.
Public Chamber passed a decision to picket outside the Azerbaijani Parliament with the slogan â€œNo restriction on freedom of assemblyâ€ protesting against the amendments to be made to the law â€œOn Freedom of Assemblyâ€. Baku Majorâ€™s Office in the letter of response didnâ€™t consider this picket expedient.
