Azerbaijani President visits Saatli region - <font color=red>UPDATED</font>

Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev informed the Head of State about the reconstruction work. The hospital consists of three blocks.

The President was told about the work to landscape the yard of the facility. The hospital was provided with new equipment.

The Saatli Central Hospital has polyclinic, surgery, maternity, pediatric, reanimation, gynecology, first aid departments and labs.

The facility has 183-strong staff, including 58 doctors.

Then, President Ilham Aliyev met with the hospital staff and local residents.

Doctor of the hospital Adelina Alakbarova thanked the Head of State for his care and attention.

President of Azerbaijan also inaugurated a newly overhauled bridge of the Saatli-Musali-Mazrali highway over Araz River.

The Head of State viewed photo stands reflecting the previous and current look of the bridge.

Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov informed President Ilham Aliyev about highways which will be built in 2013.

President Ilham Aliyev was briefed on the technical indicators of the bridge over Araz River.

The 238.8 meter-long bridge was reconstructed by Azerkorpu Company.
The Azerbaijani leader cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the facility.

The Head of State also was informed about the construction work on a bridge of Hajigabul-Horadiz highway over Kur River.

The length of the bridge will be 317.7 meters and width will be 14.8 meters.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today arrived in the country`s Saatli district, APA reports.

The Head of State started his trip by visiting a monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of the city.

Head of the Saatli Executive Authority Siragaddin Jabbarov informed the Azerbaijani leader about the redevelopment work in the Heydar Aliyev park here.

He said the park covered a total area of 5.6 hectares.

The facility has new green strips and fountains.

President Ilham Aliyev has also inaugurated headquarters of the New Azerbaijan Party`s regional branch in Saatli.

The Head of State cut a ribbon symbolizing the opening of the facility, and toured it.

President Ilham Aliyev was informed that the construction of the building started in May, 2012.

The two-storey building covers a total area of 432 square meters.

A bust to national leader Heydar Aliyev was installed in the foyer of the facility.

There is a photo stand reflecting Heydar Aliyev`s political activity, the national leader`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s visits to Saatli and meetings with local residents.

The headquarters has a 50-seat conference hall.

The Azerbaijani President praised conditions created here.

The Head of State also has today inaugurated the Youth Center in Saatli.

The President was informed the construction of the Center`s two-storey building started in 2011. The facility covers a total area of 2,500 square meters.

Photo stands reflecting national leader Heydar Aliyev`s and President Ilham Aliyev`s visits to Saatli and their meetings with youth were installed in the foyer of the Center.

The Youth Center has a shooting club, a dance studio, a cafe, computer and karaoke rooms, an e-library, a 3D cinema theatre, sewing and drawing clubs, conference and 200-seat meeting halls.

Ilham Aliyev has also opened a new building of the Museum of Local Lore and Picture Gallery in Saatli.
