There is a need for it. We have neither perceived the scale of this tragedy, nor raised it to the international level. I am sure that the number of the killed people is by far more than the figure shown in the official statistics,â€ deputy chairman, executive secretary of New Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmadov told journalists, APA reports. He said that the statistics of those who died in January 20 tragedy was publicized on January 20-21, some of the wounded persons died later. He said they died in the aftermath of that massacre.
â€œBut they do not fall under the list of the people killed in January 20 tragedy. We have restricted the scale of this tragedy in terms of the statistics. We should make these facts exact. I am sure that there will be hundreds of them. The persons, who died in the aftermath of the tragedy, should not be left aside,â€ he said.
