ADP considers ceasing of International Republican Institute operation in Azerbaijan unacceptable

Baku â€“ APA. Chairman of Azerbaijan Democratic Party (ADP) Sardar Jalaloglu addressed the U.S. embassy in Azerbaijan, ADP press service told APA. He called the ceasing of operations of the International Republican Institute in Azerbaijan unacceptable and said it would seriously damage on democratic processes. He emphasized that most national non-governmental organizations in Azerbaijan are near the insolvency and in this case, the international NGOs need not to cease their operations, but in contrary, to intensify it. Jalaloglu asked the U.S. embassy to take relevant actions for restoration of IRI operations in Azerbaijan.
