Solemn ceremony on the 86th anniversary of Turkish Republic was held in â€œGulustanâ€ Palace

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev â€“ APA. Solemn ceremony on the 86th anniversary of Turkish Republic has today been held in â€œGulustanâ€ Palace.

APA reports that state and government officials, deputies, press representatives, representatives of diplomatic corpses accredited in Azerbaijan as well as the Turkish parliamentary delegation attended the event.

Singer Azerin sang the state anthems of Azerbaijan and Turkey. Welcoming the guests, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic spoke about the history of Turkish Republic.

Delivering a speech on behalf of the Government of Azerbaijan, Deputy Prime Minister Abid Sharifov conveyed congratulations on the 86th anniversary of Turkish Republic and noted that fraternal relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan were further developing.

Note that Head of the Socio-Political Department of the Presidentâ€™s Office Ali Hasanov, First Vice-Speaker of Milli Majlis Ziyafet Asgarov, Defense Minister Safar Abiyev and other high-ranking officials attended the event.
