Azerbaijani president ends his visit to Ismayilli region

Baku â€“ APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the village of Ivanovka during his visit to Ismayilli region. The villagers warmly welcomed the head of state and his wife with hospitable board and presented flowers them. President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the monument of national leader at the Heydar Aliyev Streer and left flowers before the monument.

Renovation and reconstruction work began in Ivanovka in 2008. The administrative building of the Nikitin kolxoz (collective farm), culture center were reconstructed and nearby territory was renovated and planted of greenery. The memorial of World War II heroes was reconstructed again. Light system was installed around the memorial and at the central street. The head of state and his wife met with the villagers, who gathered for harvest festival in the center of the village, and talked with them. President Ilham Aliyev looked at the hand-made works of pupils of the Heydar Aliyev school. The schoolâ€™s staff thanked the president for his support for the construction of new school building. The villager Anna Radayevaâ€™s oil-paint work â€œKusok Ivanovkiâ€ was presented to the president. President Ilham Aliyev ended his visit to the region of Ismayilli.
