Law on status of Internal Troops amended

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev â€“ APA. Milli Mejlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) discussed the draft on amendments and annexes to the law on status of Internal Troops. According to APA, Chairman of the Parliamentâ€™s Security and Defense Committee Ziyafat Asgarov reported about the draft. He said the amendment considered the establishing of Internal Troops Defense Council and proposed the Internal Troops Commander for the councilâ€™s chairman and his assistants and other top officers to be members of the council. The lawmakers voted for adoption of the draft.

The lawmakers also discussed and approved the amendments and annexes to the laws on patent, government tariff, execution of court decisions, as well as healthcare of population.
