Vice Speaker: â€œWhy donâ€™t you mention the insulting of Azerbaijani flags in Turkey?â€

Vice Speaker of the parliament Bahar Muradova said that there was no need to create boom over the removal of Turkish flags in the Alley of Martyrs in Baku. â€œIt was carried out within the law. Indeed the law on use of flags of foreign countries and international organizations in Azerbaijan should be implemented out since its adoptionâ€.

MP Ikram Israfil said it was necessary to declare September 15, the day of liberation of Baku as a Day of Turkish-Azerbaijan friendshipâ€ for ending of tensions between Azerbaijan and Turkey.

MP Igbal Aghazadeh proposed to hang the Turkish flag in highest place of Azerbaijan. â€œThe removal of Turkish flags will increase the enemyâ€™s activityâ€.

First Vice Speaker Ziyafat Asgarov reminded that not only Turkish, but Azerbaijani flag was also removed from the Turkish Martyrdom in Baku. â€œWhy donâ€™t you mention the insulting of Azerbaijani flag in Turkey? When I saw our flag in that situation I considered myself insulted. We want Turkish officials to take the national interests of Azerbaijan into considerationâ€.
